A sign of the changing times: for the first time in history, an NFT has been launched in an International wine Fair, it happened last Tuesday when SIEPI18 NFT, a tribute to the exclusive Toscana IGT “Siepi” 2018 by Marchesi Mazzei – Castello di Fonterutoli , with an artwork by Gianlucuca Biscalchin, has been launched at VINITALY.
The Manager of the relationship with the wineries for the Italian Wine Crypto Bank that has minted the SIEPI18 NFT in collaboration with Crypto Dinewineart has introduced the event which has held in the stand of Marchesi Mazzei, with the presence of the Giovanni Mazzei, Export Director, and Filippo Bartolotta, renowned wine writer and educator.
“SIEPI18 is part of our Catch 22 NFT collection and is minted in 22 copies, each one will contain a key to redeem a Magnum of this excellent wine”.
Among the participants to the event there were Andrea Guolo (Gambero Rosso, Pambianco, Corriere Vinicolo), Barbara Amoroso (Luxury Magazine, Cucina & Vini, Winesurf, La La Wine) and Francesca Noce (Italy’s Finest Wines).
