From the press release by Allumeuse: The world of cryptocurrencies enters, for the first time, the most important Italian wine fair with the presentation of the Siepi NFT.
The Italian Wine Crypto Bank (IWCB) will be present at Vinitaly for the launch of SIEPI18, the NFT of an iconic wine: Igt Toscana Rosso “Siepi” by Fonterutoli, part of the exclusive Catch 22 collection. The vintage chosen is 2018 for “one of the 50 wines that have changed the style of Italian wine”(Gambero Rosso); a blend of Sangiovese and Merlot from a single vine of about 6 hectares. The NFT artwork is signed by Gianluca Biscalchin and will be the first in history to be launched within an edition of Vinitaly.
The presentation will be held in Verona Fiere on 12th April at 1.00 pm in the Fonterutoli’s stand Hall 9 Booth C15. A historic event that marks the beginning of a new way of enjoying wine.
Fonterutoli’s Export Director Giovanni Mazzei will host Rosario Scarpato and Anna Paclet of the Italian Wine Crypto Bank, respectively Founder – Director and Chief Wine Value Analyst, and the journalist and wine communicator Filippo Bartolotta as guest.
