The Italian Wine Crypto Bank has announced today that SIEPI18 the NFT authored by Gianluca Biscalchin, part of its collection “Catch the 22”, is no longer available on the market. Marchesi Mazzei purchased all the 22 pieces to remove them from the market and to use them in the near future for charity initiatives as well as to reserve them to its best customers, particularly those belonging to its Club. “It’s a farsighted move that takes into consideration the growing value of the NFTs and their uniqueness is used in this way to reward important customers and to support noble, no-profit initiatives”, remarks who is in charge of the relationship with partner wineries for the Italian Wine Crypto Bank.
Siepi18 is a tribute to the Toscana Rosso IGT “Siepi” 2018 by Marchesi Mazzei, it was minted by the Italian Wine Crypto Bank and launched within Vinitaly 2022. Part of the series dedicated to great Tuscan wines, is signed by artist Gianluca Biscalchin, known for his creations of peculiar microcosms of cities, countries, ingredients, wines and chefs. Minted only in 22 copies, in collaborations with Crypto DineWineArt Siepi18 has been on sale in OpenSea at 0.4 Ethereum and each one contains a key to redeem a Magnum of the rare wine.
