Launched in the splendid setting of Podere Il Carnasciale, in Tuscany, CABERLOT18 is the NFT signed by Gianluca Biscalchin linked to the Toscana Rosso IGT “Il Caberlot” 2018, which is part of the Catch 22 Collection, the series dedicated to the great wines of Tuscany and coined from the Italian Wine Crypto Bank.
Moritz Rogosky and his mother Bettina, the owners of the winery, welcomed the group of selected guests, including journalists, food & beverage managers, collectors and artists. Anna Paclet representing the Italian Wine Crypto Bank explained the goals of the initiative and introduced Gianluca Biscalchin who, in a live video-call, explained how he created the artwork for this iconic wine and the meaning of its legendary X.
Among the participants there were the sommeliers Davide D’alterio (Enoteca Pinchiorri) and Francesco Moradei (Four Seasons Firenze), the restaurateurs Gisella Nocentini (Ora d’Aria) and Simona Quirini (Canto del Maggio), the influencers Emanuele Gobbi (La cucina italiana/mamablip) and Stefano Secci (@seccivai), the photographer Marco Lanza, Gregorio Tozzi (COO Allumeuse), Bernardo Conticelli (Wine Expert), Guido Rossi Monti (Wine Broker), Andrea Tellini (Enoteca Terranuova Bracciolini) and Andrea Battagli. Special guests from the Napa Valley the wine writer Sarah Bray e the winemaker Taylor Berkley Boydstun.
