CABERLOT18 NFT WILL BE PRESENTED AND ON SALE ON MARCH 30th

Mar 24, 2022

The third NFT of the extraordinary series dedicated to great Tuscan wines minted by the Italian Wine Crypto Bank will be presented on Wednesday 30 March 2022. Its name is CABERLOT18, its artwork is signed by Gianluca Biscalchin and will contain a key to redeem a Magnum of a legendary SuperTuscan: the Toscana Rosso IGT “Il Caberlot” 2018 by Podere Il Carnasciale, one of the planet’s most singular wines made from a rare clone of Cabernet Franc.  Minted only in 22 copies, in collaborations with Crypto DineWineArt, CABERLOT18 will be on sale at 0.4 Ethereum and each NFT  will come with a unique authentication NFC Tag that, when scanned, brings the user to the transaction record for the corresponding NFT purchase, creating immutable proof of authenticity that will forever live on the blockchain.

CABERLOT18 is part of the Catch 22 NFT collection and in its artwork Biscalchin celebrated the X, the graphic sign that the late Wolf Rogosky and his wife Bettina choosed as the emblem of the winery since its start. “For this reason – writes Biscalchin – I decided to create a sequence of this sign , reproduced with dimensions, techniques and colours in mutation”.  In the NFT the graphic narration of Biscalchin becomes the grid of the five-hectare vineyard that still today are the passion of Moritz and his mother Bettina. Moritz was the first to join the NFT program of the Italian Wine Crypto Bank. He describes his decision as very consequential to his love for the arts and the passion he put in his wine, known for its extraordinary perfume, the sleek texture, and its great elegance. Until 2005 Il Caberlot was available only for American wine lovers, then it was given to very privileged wine stores (2 only in Tuscany for example) and restaurants like  Florence’s Il Cibreo, and Paris’ 3-star L’Ambroisie.
